As it’s known, there are two sources of Hajj finance, namely the Hajj fund and the ummah’s endowment fund. The Hajj funds come from the cost of carrying out the Hajj pilgrimage (BPIH), which is deposited by congregants who are set to leave in the relevant year. The endowment fund for the Ummah comes from the rest of the Hajj operation or the efficiency of the running Hajj funds. The process of transferring Hajj funds from the Ministry of Religion to BPKH has started since early 2018 which has been carried out gradually.
